[It's a hot one. Like seven inches from the midday sun. It's the perfect day to take a dip to cool down. Or, better yet, hit the water park. Which, coincidentally, is where Athrun is today.

He's on a date with his girlfriend, and Maki is currently in the women's changing room. Athrun himself is already changed, wearing a pair of red swimming trunks and sandals, and standing outside the changing rooms. He's drawing more than a few looks from nearby female patrons as he waits, too. Not surprising -- not only is he handsome, but he has a toned upper body. But right now, only one girl is on his mind, and he's waiting for her to finish getting changed.]

[Maybe it's a good thing that Maki is used to being in a group of nine girls by now. She remembers how annoying this waiting on places like this could get on days like this when everyone seems to have the same idea about where to go in this heat.

Well today she doesn't need to wait for any of the other girls but there is a lot of crowd so it takes her a while to get out of the changing rooms. She is wearing something cute again this time though she has a lot of variety for them back home. He will see them all in time as this thing goes on.

Maki walks to Athrun with the usual grumpy look on her face. And it's not because they are gathering a lot of looks by themselves and together too, she knows well that they both only have eyes for each other.]

Seems like everyone came here today with their whole family and all of their friends. [okay maybe not, it is not like there isn't room for everyone here now when changing clothes is over. She reaches out to take his hand with a little smile.] Let's go. Anywhere you want go first?

[Sure enough, Athrun can't take his eyes off Maki. That bikini looks entirely too good on her. A part of him can't help but feel extremely lucky at the moment.]

Fantastic.

[Was that to the way Maki looked, or to the fact that Maki was ready to get going?]

Shall we hit up some water slides first?

[Maybe there will be one that they can ride together, but if not, then riding separate is still fun. However, he's going to want to spend as much time as he can with her.

... Hey, I didn't make you wait for that long.

[ Or did she? Either way apparently Maki is taking that as a comment to the fact that she is (finally) ready to go now.

She nods. Water slides first sound like the best way to start the day. She doesn't let go of his hand when she begins walking, almost like leading them somewhere where she wants to go.]

There is one that I really want to try while we are here.

[ It is going to be a ride for two at a time indeed. A few steps later Maki steps closer to Athrun, giving him a look as if she is wondering about something... then she wraps an arm around him. J-just because it is good to stay closer in crowds.]

Huh?

[That wasn't how Athrun had meant it. Not at all. It was a way to express how much he loved the way Maki looks in that bikini. Her certainly looks confused, though that look disappears when she wraps her arm around him.

That surprises him, but he takes it in stride. He responds by wrapping his own arm around her lower back, enjoying the skin-on-skin contact they have going.]
