[Why was it that no matter how many rimes Homura came to Madoka's house, she was always nervous? She's been standing in front of the door for quite a while, gathering up the courage to just ring the doorbell. Uwahaa... she must look like a weird stalker..!

[She's been waiting for Homura to come over for a good while, now she's wondering if possibly perhaps maybe Homura-chan can't find their house? Either way, she should be a good girl and go outside the house, so her friend can find to the right house easily.

Madoka opens the door and almost bumps into Homura, who's right there. Ah, she's heeeere!! ]

Homura-chan, I'm so sorry, did I scare you? I had no idea, that you just arrived!

It's okay. I was just about to go look for you since my directions here might have been kind of... ummm, bad, I thought you'd be somewhere nearby and well, I could always at least wait outside if I don't walk here with friends.

[How do you say she was too nervous to come inside to a cute girl like this. She's not intimidating at all and here she is, all nervous about ringing a doorbell.]

[Madoka shakes her head and offers her right hand to Homura.] Well, since you're here now, let's go! [...in to the house, but since this is Madoka, a simple invite in just won't do.]

[ I have to tell them... Homura keeps thinking this to herself - she's been trying to work herself up to it the whole week between being discharged and starting school again. But it's just too horrible, really, and her mind shudders away from thinking about how - how things ended last time. Besides, she has time, doesn't she? She doesn't have to tell Madoka or Mami right away - and really considering the ridiculous way she'd acted last time in her over-excitement, maybe it'd be better if she waited anyway...

But this fretting isn't getting her anywhere, at least not anywhere useful, so when the class breaks for lunch, she steels herself and goes over to Madoka's desk while she's fishing her lunch out of her bag. ]

I - um - that is -- [ And of course immediately stumbles over her own tongue. Good job, Homura. ] Kaname-san, would you, that is -- would you mind if - if we had lunch together?

[And while Madoka is fishing her lunch, she had no idea what's going on around her. So hearing Homura's voice so close so suddenly startles the pink haired girl.]

Ehh? [She stares at Homura in surprise while she pulls the box out of her bag, giving the black haired girl time to finish what she's started saying. .... O-Ohhh! Madoka blushes a bit and tries to smile despite the huge surprise.] I -- I'd like that very much, Homura-chan! [She gets up from her seat, ready to go with her!] Umm, do you have a favorite place to eat your lunch? Since - Since you're new and all, I just wonder if you've found one.

[ That's right. She's supposed to be new, so maybe it'd be weird to already have a place... Still, she wants to suggest someplace somewhat private, so Homura makes a show of thinking for a moment. ]

Ah - um, w-well the day is really nice out so I, um... maybe -- maybe the roof? That is if - if it's not - not too much trouble to get there...

[O-O-Oh! Homura hesitates for just a moment before taking Madoka's hand with a small, shy smile.]

[Madoka giggles.] That's almost scary, Sayaka-chan. Are you a mind reader?

[So cute, Homura-chan! Madoka doesn't even look sheepish at all, she just looks as cheerful as ever as she leads Homura to the house.

We're doing this tag just to break the Madoka player's heart with the thought of this situation vs. the one, where she is not even a part of the family anymore after the ending. Oooops. I was always tempted to write a post at Somarium about that, like going back to the house while she's not even part of the family anymore -- just to see her family, even though they wouldn't remember her ever being there. Except her brother... K, rambling is over, let's continue.]
